Cannot release a sales order to warehouse and no work created when using load planning workbench

Hi all,

Background:

I created a sales order with a line. Add an item whose item storage dimension is Ware, and designate a warehouse which enabled whs management process.

Please ignore the special character. XD

Problem:

1. Release to warehouse.

When I tried to release the sales order line to warehouse, it just shown this message

No new sales lines have been released to the warehouse for sales order ####.

2. Load planning workbench.

Then I tried to using load planning workbench to release the sales order to warehouse, add the sales order line to a new load, validate the load and release it to warehouse, this time it run successfully, but when I check the work details of the load created, it is empty.

Question:

So could anyone tell me how these problems happen?

How could I receive this sales order successfull?

Is there any configuration that I didn't create or set?

Please check following

1. If you are using load planning workbench to create a load then please ensure you have defined load posting methods.

2. From Sales order, just make sure you have reserved sales order qty.

I found out the reason that,

1. I didn't set the work template correctly.

2. the item I defined is a batch-phy item, but I didn't batch reserve it.

So that's the route cause. Thank you again for your kindly reply.

Hello,

I am facing the same issue while click on release to warehouse. and I have also checked my item qty is reserved.

Apart from this I am new in F&O so not sure the exact flow to create an advance shipment note(outbound) so I don't know about work template,

If you have any video as ref or document to create an ASN, then it would be grateful.
