Contact Management - Service Period

I am trying to learn how to set up Service Contracts, I am struggling with the Service Period. I entered 1YR but it tells me I can not be zero or empty. Help?

    I tried 1Y, 1M, 1D, 6M. Nothing is working. I continue to get the error that says the service period must have a value.

    could be a bug. have you installed the last updates/hotfixes?

    I will check with the ERP guys maybe thats the issue.

    Update the header fields 1st and then do line item entry.
