How to show comments from Purchers order Workflow?

Hi all,
 
we work with purchase order workflow and I have seen, it is possible to write a comment, when e.g. submitting the workflow or requesting a change.
But currently these comments are not displayed in the Email Notifications. What should I do to display comments in the Email notifications?
 
or is the only way for a user to see the comment is to look it up in the workflow history?

    The comments should be visible in the Workflow history.

    Decide which sequence workflow steps are essential. Utilize email surveys to get client feedback. Utilize a comment management tool or an information management system to track and save consumer reviews. Make a space for consumer evaluations on your website or another location. Comment boxes, reviews, and other media can be used as a straightforward way to display remarks.

    I’ve run into a similar situation where workflow comments were captured but didn’t show up in email notifications, which made them easy to miss unless you checked the history. In my case, it turned out the email template had to be explicitly extended to include the comment field from the workflow event. Is your system flexible enough to customize the notification template, or is it more locked down?
