I am having an issue with solution upgrade in Dynamics 365 version 9.2
I have solution abc in Dev that I exported as managed and imported into test env. then I created a patch in dev from parent solution (abc) and deployed that too in test env. as managed solution. After that, I merged (clone a solution) in dev and got new version of a solution where I added new changes to it and then deployed into test env again as managed solution. The path to upgrade checkbox was marked as true and in test I could see 3 different solutions (abc_upgrade, abc_patch and abc). I then upgrade the base solution and the upgrade went well.
The problem I have noticed is, the fields I added in patch are no more available in upgraded solution however, all the solutions been merged in one.
Is there any concept that I am missing? or is it a bug with MS?
Any help would be appreciated.
