Hi All,
Not sure what happened to my other question seems to of disappeared, so apologies if this seems to be a repeat.
I have a very odd situation.
Imagine a rack with 3 shelves, each shelf is holding a variety of items, but each shelf can only contain a certain max of each of the items
e.g.
shelf 1 - Max 7 of each item (location profile ID #1)
shelf 2 - Max 6 of each item (location profile ID #2)
shelf 3 - Max 5 of each item (location profile ID #3)
I've create 3 x Location Profile ID's to accommodate this in the replen. template, so my replen. template contains 3 lines, allowing me to set the different MAX replen levels for each shelf, each one with a different location profile ID in the location select query. When I run the Replen. job, I'm only getting work generated to replen. Shelves 1 & 2, nothing for shelf 3.
I've tried a number of different scenarios, like, create a template for shelf 3 (location profile ID #3) on its own, didn't work.
I've changed the location profile ID's associated to the locations on shelf 3 to be location profile ID #2 and I get work generated, which sort of indicates it's something to do the location profile ID #3, but it's created identically to #1 & #2, so makes no logical sense as to why it's not generating work.
Has anyone else come across this, or has anyone a better solution?
Regards
Mark
Hello Mark,
Your earlier post had some snap shots, though i can recall few basic things from it.
For the 3rd line work not getting created, I would check on few things;
1. If there sufficient inventory available for selected products to replenish
2. Since, the replenishment is for Only empty fixed location, do you have any empty location available
3. Do you have fixed location mapping for items in select query
4. Do you have any log from work creation history
