How to Select More than One Vendor

Hello,

I am new to Business Central and I have one simple question about creating a recurring general journal. I would like to know if there is a way to select more than one "Account No." all at once. For instance, I want to simply select all vendors in Account No. at once instead of creating separate line and post a recurring general journal once a year. Is there a way to do this?

I have the same question (0)

No, this is not possible in the standard application. Journal lines must be inserted line by line.

I’ve not clear what you have in mind but this could be possible with a customization that permits you to select N vendors from a list and then creates N journal lines automatically.

Yes, but if this is once a year, don't use Recurring Journals. Go to General Journals, open a batch, and select Actions -> Opening Balance -> Prepare Journal -> Vendor Opening Balance

    Have fun!

You can't do that in BC. You will need to do it on separate line.

The easiest way is to do the journal in excel, then copy and paste it from excel to BC.
