Is it possible to group customers in Business Central ?

Dear Members,

I would like to know whether is it possible to group customers in Business Central. Is it possible to group customer based on parameters like location code, country or pin code.??

My requirement is that, I need to send customer statement email using batch jo to a customer group on a particular day based upon any other mentioned parameters above..

Could you members please suggest me is there any possiblity that I can group the customers on the mentioned parameters..?

Or please do share your views which would help me to meet out my requirement..

    If you open the customer card in Business Central, you will find a field called as "Location Code"

    However, to answer your question, one can group multiple customers based on ther Location Code, AR Accounts, Geography, etc.

    Open a customer card, explore the fields given at once

    Since you mentioned sending a Customer Statement, you can apply filters when running that batch job.  For example, If I wanted to send statements to only customers supplied by my EAST Location, I would apply the EAST Location filter on the Customer Statement report when sending it out.  Then the system is only providing statements to Customers who have EAST defined as the Location.
