I have a user I am trying to assign an alert rule to. The rule has been set up and assigned to them but when I try to tick the box so they receive either popup notifications or emails it says the user has insufficient rights.
The alert event is if a record has been created in supplier bank accounts <all fields>
I know that if they don't have access to all required tables that the alert won't run, but looking at the role they have been assigned it does contain the permission to view VendBankAccounts, which I would have thought would be enough to assign this rule to the user.
What am I missing?
