We have an issue with Debits and Credits reversing on SmartLists, as shown in the screenshots below. Please can someone advise what has gone wrong, and how to fix it?

While in the smartlist, click Columns at the top, then the display names to type in the new column headings. Click OK.
Then click Favorites and Modify if it is already a Favorite (which I assume it is) or Add to add it as a new Favorite.

Carol asked a good question, but I wonder when these SmartList Favorites were created. Are all of the SmartList Favorites for a particular object changing, or is it seemingly random? Do you see any tie in as to the time they were created or the user who created them? If you go into SmartList Options in System Setup is the Debit before the Credit?

Did you just go through an upgrade? Microsoft did fix this smartlist putting the credits on the right instead of the left. Could the smartlist actually be right, but now your headings are wrong due to the upgrade?
