How to set Custom App as a Default App to Security role users

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all doing great.

I have a query in App Creation in Dynamics 365.

I have created a new App based on the reference of Customer Service Default app. In my new App, i have customized Areas,Groups etc. I have set this App to one specific Security role "xyz".

If users from this security role "xyz" login in to CRM, then the users only access this app and system need not allow this users to access any default apps like Customer Service,Project Service etc.

Please give your ideas to implement this.

What if you removed the access to all Apps for that "xyz" security role and leave it just for your custom app ?

I can verify this works. Give your users access to the app(s) they should see.

Thanks for your responses.

If user remove the App Id in the URL then the user will see all the tiles from the Default app.

For Example:

App URL: eqi2.crm8.dynamics.com/main.aspx

Rewrite URL: eqi2.crm8.dynamics.com/main.aspx
