We have a Line Busting solution that allows the following to still happen.
1. Speed up check out by pre-ringing items for customers and simply recalling to finalize transaction.
2. Maintain the security of having to go through cashiers.
3. Maintain the money making power that impulse items at the counters contain.
4. Continue to utilize the security sensors on items.
We deploy an Intermec unit with great customer satisfaction. The software that comes pre-loaded on the unit is called RITE Scan. We developed it for retailers.
