Hi All,
I have workflows in a managed solution that I'm importing into an on premise system, and in the target system they remain in draft state as I need to modify the Team's for the from field on the email steps.
I open up the email step and everything looks good, I modify the team and click save and close. When I then re-open that email step with set properties the 2nd time. The email subject line is corrupted / has encoding issues. ( See Images here: http://1drv.ms/1etEQT3 )
This only seems to happen when the subject line has Slug replacement fields in it, and the issues vary from changing the "-", to adding in extra or "/" or in some cases the original subject contains "Ref:" surrounded by two replaced fields and on reload becomes "Ref:Ref:"
I've been able to replicate this across two separate environments, creating a new workflow with just an email step and adding in a subject with a replacement field which causes the character encoding issue.
I have checked inside the workflow xaml in the customizations in the solution before importing and there is no extra characters or anything out of the ordinary, just in case it wasn't surfacing until the first save but it all seemed fine.
At this point I was unsure what else to try and was hoping to open it to the floor to see if anyone has any suggestions?
Chris
