Customer ageing report with details and without details

Hi All,

when i run the customer ageing report with details check mark it will print all the invoices. When i run the same report with details unchecked then it will print only summary no invoices.

In both the cases the invoices are grouped under buckets.

now, my issue is when i run the report for one particular customer and uncheck the details check mark, the report will print the correct balance under balance as of coloumn but it will not print the amount in ageing buckets why so?

it prints correctly for other customers

Please explain your aging setup. How you are printing the aging report. Explain your selection in this form.

i keyed in balance as of: today,

start date: blank

ageing period definition: blank;

interval: 1

day/Mth: Month

printing direction: backward

details: no

but, now have got a trick, when i enter, ageing period definition then the report prints fine, but don't know the reason

and if the customer has payments, the aging reports shows it under balance as of column, and it has to show under ageing buckets as well but it is not showing, however it is working fine for invoices

one issue i faced now is, if i mention the ageing period definition, then the bucket date value changes, this is the issue

1. Try to put aging definition in place of interval. Then It will come in that particular bucket. If it lies between that it should print.

2. Put the criteria also.

Aging period definition: Select an aging period definition. The Interval field is not used if you select an aging period definition. Aging period definitions that have more than six aging periods cannot be used on the printed report.

Prashant I checked it, but, when i run the report , this is what i get

here you can see the balance amount of 2940 ia appearing in one bucket

but for the amount 266277.54 is not appearing in any buckets whabt could be the reason

That the 266277.54 is due before 1/3/2015

Check the origin of the transaction you will find the due date must be not lying in these buckets. Thats why it is not coming in that period range.

Hi, On debugging came to know that there was a customisation made, to fetch all the payments into separate column this was making the transactions to not to be displayed in the buckets.
