Compatible Issue AX2012 R3 with SQL server

I'd like to install AX2012 R3 and want to make a DB set with SQL server 2016.

Before getting start, I want to make sure that It is available or not(Of course, I'll use SSRS with VS).

Please give me any information, and if there is any public document about the whole compatible version between AX2012 and SQL server, it would be better for me(including Visual Studio version).

    Hi Daniel,

    The system requirements for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 includes all the compatible version between AX2012 and SQL server and also VS.

    Ax 2012 is supported for SQL 2016 not for 2017.
