Management Reporter currency translation

I have an issue where the P&L accounts, set to use AVERAGE currency translation type isn't working properly. The exchange rate being used is from the last day of the period.
 
I have configured everything to the dot using the article below:
 
 
Several companies are set up similarly but this one company just doesn't want to use the Average rate. Anyone experienced this?
