How do you assign a user's manager?

We are using Dynamics CRM 2013 and in the user management section it states that the user's information is managed in Office 365. We want to assign a user's manager but it's not evident where this is done and help has not turned up any tips.

I posted the same question on the Office 365 support forum and was told to ask here.

    if you open the user record, in the overflow (...) section of the ribbon there should be an option to Change Manager

    I'm not sure how I missed that, but having the fields greyed-out and another message saying that everything is managed in Office 365 led to some confusion. Thanks for the help.
