Label Value Not Displaying Correctly in SSRS Report (Shows Label ID Instead of Text)

Hi everyone,

I created a label file in D365 F&O and used it in an SSRS report for displaying captions.

After successfully compiling and building the project (including the label file), the report still shows the Label ID (e.g., @ABC001) instead of the actual label value.

The label file screenshot is attached for reference.

Has anyone faced this issue before?

Any guidance on why the label value isn’t displaying properly in the report and how to resolve it would be really helpful.

Thanks,

Raj D. Borad

Thank you all for your valuable responses.

We resolved this issue using delete and recreate a Labels.
We don't know what happens, but it worked.

    Hi Raj,

You can verify details written in this blog by Alex. Maybe you have the same root cause: Handling Label Files in a D365FSC UDE Instance - Alex Meyer:

Check their syntax and if syntax is correct then delete SSRS report .rdl file from ssrs server and redeploy your report.

I think you need restart Visual Studio and then build the model with labels.
If it doesn't work, you need to check the report in Reporting Services Configuration Manager. Sometimes you need to delete or rename the report and redeploy it.
