Cannot filter Note field on Sales Order

I have a Note field on the Sales Header (36) table.

I'm trying to filter this field based on its text.

The client stores dates and other pertinent information in this field. It is set up as a normal 250 char text field.

I'm having trouble filtering this field from the Sales Order List (9305) page.

If I try filtering based on a word such as "Freight" no results are returned even if I have orders that contain the word "Freight" in the Note field.

Nav does seem to recognize if the field is populated because if I use <>'' or '' to filter it will either return all orders with a null Note field or all orders with a populated Note field.

Trying to determine why this field cannot be filtered like other fields that I have on the same page/table.

Hi, you can use '*' to filter the Freight.

Have you tried *Freight* - that is the proper free text search in NAV.
