Hey all,When my users generate an invoice via a sales order, the sales tax won't populate in the totals till after the sales tax button is clicked in the generate invoice prompt. If they don't click that button, it won't generate any sales tax at all on the invoice and it'll be missed. If it's relevant, my company uses Avalara Avatax. Before clicking sales tax in totals. When I click on sales tax.
Totals after I click sales taxAny advice at all would be appreciated. I've been stuck on this for a day or two and I'm relatively new to dynamics
Hi Robby,
I'm not familiar with Avalara Avatax. Is this an add-on for Dynamics 365 Finance? If so, can you contact that vendor to ask if it is related? In the standard application, I'm not able to reproduce your scenario.
Andre is correct that since Avalara is being used to generate the tax, it is likely that their code is coming into play here and overriding the core D365 for F&O code for sales tax.
It would be best to reach out to them. However, someone from the Community that uses Avalara may have seen this issue before and can provide some feedback.
I see it has been awhile since your thread has been updated. Were you able to get assistance from Avalara on this issue?
Currently in contact with them trying to solve the issue. I'll update the thread when we solve!
