edit rdlc layout

ReportReport

Ok I am not a programmer so editing an RDLC layout is a bit over my head. That being said....

I am working with preprinted checks, using report ID 10411 Check (Stub/Check/Stub) I need to remove our company name and address and the printed check numbers. I have highlighted what I need removed in red (see attached). I have been through the help files and tried to do this myself with report builder and visual studio code, with glorious failure. Is there a better program out there that will do this? Is there a company that anyone knows of that will not charge me few thousand dollars to do this?

Long in short of it is that we have spent a few thousand dollars on this program, including "integration" and technical support and this thing barely works for us. If an accounting program can't print a check, what is it really worth?
I have the same question (0)

In report builder you can simply select the fields, and then on the right sight in the Properties pane change the visibility from false to true. After that, you need to import the layout back into Business Central.

You can also simply delete those fields, but I recommend hiding them instead.

If your partner is truly charging you thousands of dollars for such basic changes, I would seriously consider finding a new partner. This type of change shouldn't take more than an hour. Feel free to reach out.

Hi, Download Microsoft® Report Builder and try it. Change the file extension to .rdl and you can edit it.
Then delete these text box. It's not that hard.

PS: Set the layout used by a report

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.
