How to apply filter base on link entity in _odata filter query. Note how we use /access   newtest-vp_account  with hyphen .

(We are trying to use _odata query in power app portal / Dynamics 365 custom portal). Below are the Screenshot of Api URL.

pptset is an entityset created in Dynamics which is a view of lets say A entity. A entity has a lookup of B entity and B entity has a lookup of Account entity.
In this pptset entityset, we are fetching the attributes of A entity and Account lookup value from B entity.
When we hit the URL without any filter, it gives us the data in Json format wherein, its representing the Account lookup value as:
    B_entity_name-account_attribute
And we want to filter our data on the basis of this Account lookup value.

Can I check if newtest-vp_account is a lookup field name? If yes, how you managed to create a field name with hyphen (-)?

Hi Ashish, could you post the whole filter of URL and error message ?  because I am not sure which character made this issue, from the screen short there are - _ \

Hi Henry Xie, I have removed "newtest-vp_account" hyphen(-) and placed / and %252F  but its still giving a same error.

    Example :

    1-) newtest%252F_account

    2-) newtest/_account

Hi Ashish, did you try to use slash (%252F) replace the / character?
