I am receiving an error message on Sales Invoices when entering a quantity

Hello-

I am unable to enter a quantity on Sales Invoices.  I am receiving the following error message:

 

Validation Results

Invalid function calls.  Function reserved for external tax engines only.

Can someone please help with some guidance on how to resolve this?

    I got the same error when using a custom Tax Area code which was not properly setup.

    If you have created a custom tax code, do a search for Tax Area and edit the Tax Area code to not use "Use External Tax Engine"
