Prevent Attached Documents On Sales Orders From Being Deleted on Customer Update

Hello,
 
When updating a customer on a sales order with attached documents through the API, the attached documents always get deleted. 
 
What can I do to prevent this from happening?

    I'm sorry I don't fully understand, is it that the attachment was not uploaded successfully? Or was it automatically deleted after it was uploaded successfully?
    Is there an error message?
    I tested it in Power Automate and there is no such problem.
