Using number sequence for the project id cross company

Hi,

is there a way to use the number sequence for the project ids over all companies instead of company specific?

    Hi,

    The number sequence for projects is setup as "Company specific". To my knowledge, you can't change that to Shared so that it can be used across companies without customization.

    Project ID is company specific in D365 FO. Can you please share details why do you want to use the same project ID shared accross companies? what exactly you want to achieve from business perspective?
