Missing Inventtrans for Transfer Order

i Had a Transfer Order that fail to Receive.
the error said "No financial data is being updated in the inventory unit.".

Normally, for Transfer Order transaction with shipped state, there are 4 lines:

1. Inventory out from source warehouse
2. inventory in to Transit warehouse
3. Reserve on Transit warehouse
4. Ordered on destination warehouse

but when i check the transaction for issued TO, i found that the 4th lines are missing. the Ordered lines for destination warehouse.

not sure what cause it & the inventory now stuck at Transit warehouse.

on Receiving Form, i can see LotID number that are not exist on InventTransOrigin.

is there some way to makes AX recalculate the InventTrans so the 4th lines are appearing?

    Hi ITPG,

    Are you using a specific localization?

    I am asking because not all transfer orders create financial vouchers in all countries/regions.

    In addition, is this a transfer between sites or within a single site?

    Can you also let us know what AX2012 version you operate?

    Finally, can you let us know whether things worked fine in the past?

    Are you using a specific localization?

    our consultant had configure our item storage dimension to had location but up until now we havent use the feature fully & dump all our inventory to dummy location named "Default".

    In addition, is this a transfer between sites or within a single site?

    it in single site, just different warehouse.

    Can you also let us know what AX2012 version you operate?

    AX2012 R3

    Finally, can you let us know whether things worked fine in the past?

    Yes, we use Transfer Order quite alot without any issue.

    is there a risk running Consistency Check as im not running default AX, i mean there is many custom made by our consultant here & there in our system.

    also is there something that i should do or know before that? like maybe i cant post anything like when in the middle of Accounting Closing process. or maybe it takes quite long time, so i should run it at night where no one use it?

    If you execute the same transfer again in a demo/test environment do things work fine or do you see the same issue?

    Are you aware of any changes that have been made to your AX2012 environment? I am asking this because if everything worked fine in the past then something must have changed.

    sadly i cant cancel the issue TO so the inventory kinda stuck there unable to cancel nor receive it.

    also today we had another TO from & to the same warehouse, it takes around 3 day to arrive at destination warehouse. i will see if the issue happen again or not but checking the transaction, the other TO had all 4 lines, unlike the problem TO that missing 4th lines.

    i think we didnt do any change recently. all of our IT recent project are outside AX system, although we put our new table in AX DB.

    Hi ITIPG,

    Please check if the issue occurs also for the new TO.

    For the one that is stuck: Please try to get some help from a technical guy / developer. I don't think that you can do much via the normal user interface in AX.

    Hi ITIPG,

    As you mentioned that there are many customizations, you first need to test the consistency check in a separate environment. For sure, include the developer here. The missing inventory transaction might be related to a customization. A developer could also write a script to add the missing inventory transaction.

    Update info, my new TO are received without any issue, so does the other next TO.

    i guest its hard for me to track down the culprit.

    That is good to hear.

    Keep an eye on this process.

    If it happens again then a deeper investigation might be needed.

    Have you somehow fixed/corrected your invent trans for the problematic TO or is this no longer needed?
