Import Discount Lines for Large offer (Question applies to all discount tables)

Hey,

I often discounts with over 500 individual lines that we type out manually. Is there way to import line details from excel? I'd like to be able to do this in the discount, mix and match, quantity and threshold tables.

Currently the Discounts form does not support interactive discount line editing using the "Open in Excel" add-in (which we plan to support on future roadmap), but you can do so by navigating to the "Organization administration > Setup > Office integration > Excel workbook designer" and then choosing the "RetailDiscountLine" entity. After select the fields you want to import, click on the "Create workbook" button and then add line details via the downloaded Excel file. Excel leverages the Dynamics data connector to publish the line details to HQ.

I am not sure if I understood your question properly. We usually use the Periodic Discount and Periodic Discount Lines to bulk import all kinds of promotions. An ideal way will be configure all sample promotions manually, then export those promotions using the below entities to create templates.
