Integration Mgr- GP greyed out option

Hello,

have registered & used integration mgr. in the past. Recently had a GP10 re-install done do to some glitches.

when attempting to access Integration mgr in GP-Tools-Integration, the option is greyed out. I am "SA" Admin user.

I can access IM, externally, via "Start Programs- Microsft Dyn- Integration mgr. "

would prefer to access within GP. are there any suggestions to correct issue ?

    Two thing you should check:

    1) Is integration manager loading when GP is started ? checking if integration manager is listed at dynamics.set file

    2) check if the product is enabled at licence keys, for this click on the blue question mark at top right of the screen and then  select about dynamics gp  and then click on options.

    Intgr. site Enabler is registered.

    I don't see the Intergr. mgr listed in Dynamics.set file.

    Should i edit & enter exactly as you show in your sample- 2 lines "105" & "Integr...mgr" ?

    Yes you can edit the dynamics.set file.  It is good idea to make a  back up copy always!!!!

    Three thing you need to do.

    1) the first number at the dynamics.set file on line one needs to incremented by one.

    2) add the product id and product name below

    3) and finally add the 3  dictionary  files info in same order as 2 was added!

        also ensure the dictionary files are located in the path you enter

     

    Example based on my dynamics.set file.

    hi Sanjay,

    sorry for delayed response, we're in our month end close.

    I could not locate IM.DIC files, in;  Progrm Files/Microsoft Dynms/GP.../Data/, in order to enter in NEW DYNAMICS.SET file.

    When entering 1 : 105 : IntegrationMgr in Set file w/o DIC, i get a "Data Dictionary Memory Allocation ERR" when launching GP.

    Is there a repair function that can be done ?

    other suggestions ?

    Sorry for the delay on my part to..

    If you have no integrations defined, uninstall and reinstall integration manager.  Looks like a problem with your installation.

    IM installs the IM.DIC file when it is installed so you will need to uninstall and reinstall to get this loaded.

    Hello,

    Please I have similar issue. My own issue is that I have registered the integration manager. but if I check it in the from that window you captured earlier it is not showing registered.

    Please how do I rectify this.

    Check your DEX.INI file. YOU need to have these two lines:

    IMPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\Integration Manager 11\Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.exe

    IMExecPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\Integration Manager 11\Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.IMRun.exe

    Using Windows Explorer please confirm the correct path to IM.

    Yes, I have seen this before. I never did find a solution for it. For these I just built an external shortcut to run IM.
