Greetings Folks,

I have passed MB-910 exam. How can I put this knowledge in use in professional career? Which are the job roles most relevant to this certification? I welcome your suggestions, be it a career advise or learning path advise.

Hello Madhu,

This certification is just a beginning of the Dynamics 365 CRM. It will provide Basic idea about the CRM and different functionality offered by the Microsoft.

If you want to work professionally then you need explore the Modules like sales, service, marketing. You can learn about the Power Platform which is also related with the CRM.

Depending on the Functional or Technical Role you can do various certifications.

Hello Manalee,

Congratulations on passing the exam! For what it's worth, and to tie into other answers you get, I have not taken any exams or certifications yet work as a Dynamics 365 functional specialist. I started a couple of years ago as a business analyst, and started to make configuration changes specifically with sales and service models. So, while you're continuing your path, I would so don't think you cannot look for and get a job working with Dynamics without additional certifications!

Appreciate your response.

I have a career break of 1.5 year during which I moved to different geographies for personal reasons. Now to start afresh in a completely new geography, this was my own thought process to start with some certifications and keep applying for the roles. Good to read that you are already into this shoe with an experience and not with certifications. Let's see if something similar comes my way. Thanks again for writing.

Highly appreciate your informative reply.

I agree with you on the learnings and that's the goal. Fundamentals helped me in building an interest for certain products. As you rightly advised, I should focus on few selected product(s) and learn more to become an expert of it. Since I come from the Business Development profile, before I switch to a technical role, I was preferring to know more about the path from the community. Your response certainly helped me here.
