workflow error

Hi,

The user  tried raising a purchase order but got a fault in the workflow (see screenshot below).

Below is the full error message: 

26/08/2022 13:47:16:
Stopped (error): X++ Exception: A worker with a personnel number of was not found.

    Can you please check if all related users have employees assigned.

    Hello, 

    This shows that you setup a Hierarchical workflow and the system is not able to retrieve a line manager for Kenneth.

    Please check the position assign to Kenneth and confirm that the record has a parent position, and also an employee is assigned to the linemanger user account.

    Hi Gowtham,

    I think your workflow assignment type is managerial hierarchy.  Identify the reporting position and worker in positions form and map that worker to related user.

    I mean, check the line manager user account and confirm that there is an employee mapped there.

    Sys admi -> Users -> Users

    The worker position and the reporting position are in hierarchy which are already mapped.

    Hi Gowtham,

    Can you check workflow, what is the stop condition? Is it configured like below?

    Check below things:

    1) Ensure Kenneth is mapped to user and worker is assigned with position. 

    2) Ensure Kenneth position ID mapped to reports to position

    3) Ensure Reports to position is assigned to worker, further mapped to user.

    If that's the case, confirm that the line manager can access the employee selfservice without issues.

    I am suggesting these:

    - Recall workflow

    - Remove employee record on line manager user ID (Maintain version)

    - Delete line manager user account and re-import (System administartion module)

    - Reassign employee record to Line manager (System administartion module)

    - Submit workflow.
