How to include Entitlements in Dataverse search

We want to search columns in the Entitlements using Dataverse search, but we cannot enable this table for the search, even though its columns are indexed and four of its columns are selected for "Find by..." in its default Quick Find view. The table does not appear in the "All" list of tables for Dataverse to search, and its setting to enable search is disabled.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Red Robin

This link shows you how: docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-relevance-search-organization

I can tell from my own environment it is not indexed by default, but it is indexable as you see in yours.

Not sure if its due to using the new UI experience, but i've created a new solution, added the account and entitlement entities, but when i go to Manage Search Index, entitlements is not available.

From looking at the link, it suggest that the table needs 'Can enable sync to external search index' to be true, but this is greyed out and cannot be changed.

So looks like i need to work out how to change that setting before being able to include entitlements in Dataverse search.

    That's a weird one.

Mine has it set to "True" and as I am trying to investigate further I got this pop-up from PowerApps: I have the CE sku, do you?

I get that message too, trying to find out how entitlements was originally installed, i assume it was a managed solution, but it was before my time, so i don't know how it was installed.

I found a link which suggested using Entity Metadata editor in XrmToolbox which might have allowed me to edit the metadata but its no longer listed in xrmtoolbox addins.

So you do have the appropriate licensing? I think due to dependencies, regardless of your license it gets installed. Since it's managed however, they are able to restrict your usage.
