error when synchronizing data to power bi

Hi!

I want to connect my production company to power bi financial report.

But the connection fails due to the following error:

Data source error: Column '<oii>Entry No.</oii>' in Table '<oii>G/L Entries</oii>' contains a duplicate value '122154' and this is not allowed for columns on the one side of a many-to-one relationship or for columns that are used as the primary key of a table. Table: G/L Entries.

But when I check in the database, I can find only one entry with the entry no. 122154 in G/L Entries...

Hello,

To resolve the error when connecting Business Central to Power BI, ensure there are no hidden duplicates in the Entry No. column of the G/L Entries table by running a query to check for duplicates.

Verify that the relationships in Power BI are correctly set up, refresh the data source, clear the cache, and check for any data integrity issues in your Business Central database.

Using Power BI Desktop can also provide more detailed error messages and debugging options.

Hello dear,

Have a nice day, I have encountered this error before and this was the solution, (indenting the chart of account properly so the (totaling) field will be distributed right)
