Hi all, we have recently upgraded from CRM 2011 (to 2013 then 2015 then ) to CRM 2016 . in our report server we have install report authoring extension and other required features and report extension.

In CRM Reports I cannot use report wizard and create new report. well report wizard allow me to choose entity and add filter then add columns to report it failed while generating the report. i get error Error Uploading error , Report upload failed due to sandboxing limitations of reporting service reports in Microsoft Dynamics online.  but we are usign on premises.

when i see CRM server error logs i can see below error

CreateCatalogItem

xxxxxx/.../ReportService2010.asmx

I can see this RdlHelper.dll in reporting server bin folder but not in CRM server crmweb bin folder. How to solve this please.

I had the same problem. Also trying to add the url to the GAC resulted in an error. So I deleted the reference to the assembly from the report. You can do this by right click on the canvas, select Report Properties and then go into References where you can delete the assembly. After that, there is still some usage of the Helperclasses of SSRS, which you then can find and replace with any text editor, right in the RDL file. Now your report works, but lacks the fancy "page 1 of 2" and "Opened By "stuff. Good luck!
