Hi, since several months if we have a small issue at a customer and there is a hotfix for that issue we don't get that single hotfix where we can do an impact analysis and than do the installation - we always get a file "package.zip" with about 400MBs including hundreds of KBs. If we do a impact analysis than we get hundreds of conflicts and it is a high effort to install. Isn't it possible to get the single hotfixes anymore? Do we always have to install hundreds of KBs to get a single issue fixed?
Some days ago i got another package.zip when i wanted to download KB3112086. The customer with the issue is on AX2012 R3 RTM - quite outdated i would say. I talked to him and told him it is almost the same effort to install that package.zip than it is to upgrade to CU13 and he agreed and now wants to have a offer to get updated to the latest release. What is the best way to upgrade to the latest release? Do i have to upgrade to CU13 and then install each monthly release since CU13 or is it possible to install to the latest release (including CU13) in one single step - also doing an impact analysis for that single step would be important because we use that to create an offer for the customer.
Thank you

CU13 = Cumulative Update 13, so it includes all hotfixes released. That's expected.
Hello,
Did you manage to find an answer to you question? I am in the same situation I installed CU13 to my AXDEV server and I found that it applied hundred of Hotfix.
Hi Thomas,
The documentation is not clear about this. You can actually download and check the model contents to see if it is cumulative or not. I don't expect to have CU13 included in the quarterly updates, but not sure. I haven't got to deal with these updates myself anymore.
