How to set a System user as a Portal User

I saw at LINK: "In a portal application, an authenticated portal user is associated with either a Dynamics 365 contact or system user."

How do I set this up? In AdxStudio, I think there was a field to set what System User the contact was related to, so I thought for portals it would be similar.

You would still have to use a Contact record in CRM as the Portal User.

OOTB, Dynamics 365 Portals provides a option to Sign In using Azure AD. Dynamics 365 (CRM) User can simply login to Dynamics 365 Portal using the same credentials. If you are already logged in, it doesn't even ask for credentials, since it's configured for single sign on (SSO). A Contact will be created in CRM.

What Guid is it using for the username? I was hoping it'd be related to the CRM System User Guid but it looks like it isn't.
