Hi trying to recover old database after disastrous system failure.

Managed to find some files but after Database is loaded from Administrator when I start POS I get the following error

"The current database is of version 2.01. While the application requires version 2.0. Please run Store Operations - Administrator to correct this problem"

I have no Idea what to do.

Also if you have any other advice to recover my older database data, that would be much appreciated. I have a full hard drive backup made from the system after it crashed.

Hello Omar,

You need to download and install RMS 2.0 Service Pack 2, which you can download here:

mbs.microsoft.com/.../rms-20-sp2

What is the version of your SO? SO Administrator | Help | About

Already tried that, doesnt let me upgrade. says im on the latest version????????

U just need to upgrade RMS to the latest version (preferably the version that appears in the message box that u get)
