Visual C++ Components won't install during GP10 Integration Manager install

Hello,

I am trying to install Integration Manager for a client on a new workstation. The first window that pops up that installs the prerequisites installed everything except the Microsoft VIsual C++ 2005 Redistributable Components 10.0. It tells me that a log file was created, but the location of the log file provided doesn't exist on the user's computer so I can't see what the problem is.

I looked in the control panel and the user already as Visual C++ 2005 AND 2008 components installed on her computer, but I can't get past the screen where it says those components aren't installed.

Can anyone help?

    Heidi,

    We've seen this by uninstalling all of the Visual C++ components and/or Integration Manager itself from the machine(s) showing this error.

    We've also seen it caused by the following:

    >>Integration Manager being on SP5 while GP is on SP4

    >>Visual C++ 2005 runtime library pre-requisite not installed

    So, you can see there's a few different causes that we've seen with this type of error.

    We did run the install as Administrator, but I will try the link you sent for the service pack. Thanks so much!

    Did you run the install as an administrator? You can also give this install a shot: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Bumping up again? We uninstalled the existing 2005 and tried again, still no luck.
