dynamics gp 2013 web client installation

Hello,

I'm installing the web client on a single machine.

I've created a self-signed certificate and also created successfully a binding to a web site.

Next, when installing the web client I've chosen the single machine option.

On the next window (session central service) when I try to select the certificate, it doesn't show any certificate available for choosing. In fact, I'm not able to choose any certificate in any of the windows where I should.

I've checked that the certificate is installed under Certificates (local computer) / trusted root certification authorities / certificates and also under Personal / certificates

I don't understand why I could successfully bind the certificate to the web site.

Does anyone know what's happening?

The environment is the following: windows 2012, gp 2013 (12.001482), iis 8, sql server 2012

JC.

Hi I am facing the same issue. I cannot see the external certificate I just installed. All other certificates are present in the list except the new certificate. This has been imported in both Personal and Trusted stores.

Have you tried to change the system non-unicode language to Spanish in Control Panel-->Language and Region settings?

    Hope this helps!!!

    Hello Babu,

It seems the Spanish version has the bug. When I tried the English version I was able to select the certificate from the drop down list of certificates.

    Thanks anyway.

    Hi,

While creating new bindings set the Type to https, change the IP address or leave at All Unassigned if you want this site to pick up all connection requests, set the Port to 443 which is the standard SSL port.

When you added site bindings have you selected SSL certificate which you created earlier.
