Need to hide or popup the field based on ribbon button in another form

I am having two entities , Master Document and Document , there will be no relationship between them but most of the fields are similar .In master Document i am having two option set value (Check Box ) Consider it as Bank , and the Same Bank field is there in Document form (Single line of text).if i click on checkbox in Master document need to show the field on the form otherwise need to hide the field on the form . Can you please anyone guide me how to do.Based on Checkbox need to hide or shown.

    Hi Avinay

    How do you want to identify the Master Document record for the corresponding Document record, if there is no relationship between these two Entities.

    You can achieve this using a javascript function.

    In this function you need to retrieve the value from the appropriate Master Document

    On form OnLoad event call this function.

    Depending upon the value, you can show or hide the Field in the Document record.
