HQ Store Tax

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Mabuhay!

Is there any advance way to edit mass Store Tan on HQ Manager? We are doing it on a manual way which in every item we newly encode we setup Store Tax based on how many our branches is. So if we meet the 100 branches that's the times we manually edit the store taxes to vat or non vat.

We try to explore the sql table but unfortunetaly theres no hint on how to edit it thru sql. Does anyone done this already? Any help on this?

Thank you!

    Mabuhay Sir Ed,

Hi! Just recently run sql script inserting new items and run worksheets 250 and after the brnach received the data it can be now punch at the POS. Only taxable and taxid will decalre their tax details. 1, and 2 values. After reading it says it is the correct amount also.

Is there any conflict or problem will soon arise with this process? No encoding now will be done via NEW on Hq manager and no Store taxes being declare. Only thru sql insert command.

    Thanks,

    Chris

You cant edit a tax on an item before it exists.  So the store has to have the item in order for you to do a update on that item.

    Mabuhay Sir Ed,

Hi! Its a mass update and it will but is there a way it will update before this new item will be sent to store. So before they will get this items it has been edited here in HQ.

have a look at Inventory wizard.

HQ Manager -> Wizards -> Inventory Wizard

OR  if under a newer version then use the Worksheet Style 320.

Both of these will step you through assigning a sales tax to a group of item.  You can even use a custom filter and filter by store.   The newly assigned sales tax will over-write the old value.
