In CRM 2016 the Form would default back to the last used form for each user, following our upgrade to CRM 365 it now defaults back to the first form in the form order. We have custom forms based upon specific needs of each user (many belonging to multiple security roles). Can 365 be set so when user changes the Form it uses that form each time they open or create a new record until they choose to switch to another form?

Alex,
Thanks, simply changing the option to No resolved the issue and our existing forms worked. Thanks for the quick response.
thanks,
John
Hi John,
I don't think you need to re-develop all of those forms - you can probably just switch to the new form rendering and see if it works (settings->administration->system settings -> general->"use legacy form rendering" option). It really depends on what kind of customizations you have there:
www.microsoft.com/.../system-settings-dialog-box-general-tab.aspx
"if you have forms that include unsupported customizations, these enhancements can cause compatibility problems. To avoid this, you can temporarily turn the form enhancements off by choosing Yes. "
Alex, thanks, yes it appears to have defaulted to Legacy during the upgrade. Can I use the exiting forms and simply answer no to the question or will we need to re-develop the 50+ unique forms we have?
Thanks,
John
Hi John,
are you using legacy form rendering? It seems "last used form" functionality does not work in that mode.
