Freeonboard - add additional values to the dropdownlist

Hi,

Is there a way that I can add additional values to the dropdownlist for 'FreeonBoard' in the Purchasing > Vendor Class Setup other than the three default values.(Dynamics GP 10).

You can add additional values to existing Drop-Down list in Dexterity.

But, this is not advisable. Because if you add additional values to existing Drop-Down list field, the data type will be changed. So, the fields/data type used in any other windows field also changed to your custom values.

Better you can create a new drop-down field with your desired values and add this field to Vendor Class Setup window. While saving the record store the values in custom table.

I failed to do this using modifier as it will allow only to replace existing values but not add new values to the dropdown.
