GP2018 Check Register printing slow after upgrade

I've just complete an upgrade from GP2015 to GP2018 build 18.00.0496.  The company has 4 users and 3 of the users modified reports path point to a shared network drive.  One particular report, the check register, takes an inordinate amount of time to print to both screen and printer post upgrade for only one user.  The same report with the same criteria prints normally for all other users.  To troubleshoot I took the following steps, non which corrected the issue:

1. Created a new Check register report

2. Changed the affected user's dictionary path to the local drive, reimported reports, and upgraded them.

3. Verified that the report responds the same regardless of company

4. Verified that the affected user can print all other reports without issue.

5. Verified that other users can print the identical report without issue.

6. Ran a Dexsql.log which resulted in zero errors

This has me stumped.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Debi

The Dexsql.log might show zero errors, but if you are looking for performance problems, look for big time gaps between the statements being executed. I for one think this issue has to do with a corrupt reports dictionary overall. I would start by reverting security to the original report and see if you still observe the same slow printing behavior.

    Hello Debi,

Were you able to solve this one?  I have recreated the reports dictionary and it is taking a long time to print the report to screen and create the csv file.

    Thanks!

Applying the GP 2018 year-end update bringing you up to 18.00.0672 will correct this.

Thanks Richard, but my client is  on that version and only has this issue with the Check Register report, all other reports work fine!  Any other thoughts?  It is not a modified report.

    Best regards,

    Helene
