Assign organizations to security role cannot see report data

Dear Expert,

I have a customized security role that can view Purchase statistics report.

But when I assign organizations to the role, the report becomes blank.

Is there any idea about this issue.

Hi,

When you assign organizations to a security role, the user’s access gets restricted to those specific legal entities.

If the Purchase statistics report turns blank, a few things to check:

Make sure the assigned organization actually has purchase transactions or data available.

Verify if the user has access to the correct company data (Purchase orders, Vendors, Invoices).

Confirm if the report is filtering based on current company or expecting cross-company data.

As a quick test, remove the organization restriction and check if the report populates correctly.

It’s likely a data access or organization assignment mismatch.

Hi,

Can you tell us how you created the customized role? Did you create new duties/privileges, or are you using out-of-the-box security objects?
Can you share the exact menu path of the report your question is about? Is it Purchase and sourcing > Inquiries and reports > Purchase requisition statistics > Purchase requisition statistics? I don't have a "Purchase statistics" report with that label in my environment.

Yes correct, the path: Purchase and sourcing > Inquiries and reports > Purchase requisition statistics > Purchase requisition statistics

We also used the Purchasing manager (standard role) and encountered same issue. Firstly, can able to see the data in report, but when assigned specific organizations, the report becomes blank even though I can still see the record in the PR list

Dear Zain,

The Purchase requisition is shared table, when I accessed the PR list, still be able to see the records. But Purchase requisition statistics report is blank.
