Warehouse Management App - Adding connection settings to an A11 device

Hello everyone,

We are using SOTI Mobicontrol to push connection settings for the Warehouse Management App (as described in Mircrosoft's documentation). Mobicontrol pushes the connections.json file to /sdcard/Android/data/com.Microsoft.WarehouseManagement/files on the android devices. However, with the new security policies in Android 11 and newer, apps are no longer able to write to other app's directories, so the file sync fails and the connections need to be set up manually by the end user. 

Does anyone have a solution or a workaround for this?

    using QR Code, so I can't check it.

    In version 2.0.17.0, security settings were changed to be to be android 10 compatible ( enforcing security settings of android 10 and ignore Android 11 )

    I don't believe A10 app compatibility will help, as the security settings are global for the OS. We did a downgrade to A10 as a workaround until we find a solution. We might have to accept the fact that we will have to go back to QR codes..

    In a Microsoft Yammer Group, Microsoft commented that changed to A10 compatibility to overcome this. If it really works, I'm not sure.
