Dynamic Summation of Hours in TimeSheet based on Work Type Code

Hi All,
 
Have  a requirement to sum up hours dynamically based on work type code .
As user enters the time sheet the summation of the hours based on Work Type code should show up in a fact box .
How can we go about doing this?Any idea.
