Hi Please someone let me know the process of certification of Dynamics add-on by Microsoft. I developed a add-on for Microsoft dynamics GP, I want to certified it with Microsoft.  Please let me know process, time and cost required for certification.

There is no certification scheme available for Dynamics GP add-ons.

Tim, Is that mean I can develop and start selling AddOns? With addition to Amit questions - How can I get demo copy of Dynamics GP 2016 and eConnect if I need to develop addons without being Microsoft Partner?

You can sign up as a MS partner.

    partner.microsoft.com/.../core-benefits

or you may get an MSDN subscription that will give you access to the tooling and access to downloads.

Like many software companies you end up having to pay one way or another to get access to the tools or API or connection keys.

    Sandip,

Isn't BatchMaster already a Dynamics GP ISV?

It gets the conversation going on the thread, if nothing else!

Another program to look at, if you are a startup, is MS BizSpark.

It has certain criteria your company must meet, but it helps small companies in the first steps to big company.

    bizspark.microsoft.com

I would  check that this would get you access to Dynamics GP downloads  via MSDN.

The other option is to subscribe to MSDN and that will get you access to Dynamics GP for development. The one frustration is that it does not get you access to partnersource or customersource, you need to be a partner or customer for those portals.

I'm not an expert on this subject so check out anything I'm saying before paying out any money...

    Amit,

I think you may be referring to the old 'Certified for Microsoft Dynamics' designation of old. I couldn't find any current information about this program and all of the links are dead, so it's probably not there anymore. In any event, I found the requirements and have pasted them below. One thing that's clear from this is that Microsoft needs a proofreader.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Leslie,

Tough standards then! Very interesting read, thanks for digging that up.

    Hi all

I know I could look it up, but I'm being lazy today. Does anyone know what it takes to just sign up as a non-selling ISV? Twenty-three years ago, you just needed to be alive that day. We, however, did have to pay for the software back then. I don't remember the price, but I know I could get a set number of modules for 50 bucks each, or something like that. Tools authorization took another $1,500, and we had to pay $1,500 for integration manager and also had to pay for Continuum. Before Microsoft bought GP the 'annual partner fee' was $5,000 - 6,000 per year - even if you were not a reseller.
