Hello, Is there any way using standard functionality to have the system email a user when a G/L Account Balance exceeds a value ?.

    No standard email notification system for an alert on GL Account exceeding a Balance. This will need to be customized

    Alternatively, depending on the complexity, you could use Views on the Chart of Accounts page to achieve something similar.

    Users will need to periodically check the view to ensure there are no GL breaching the limit
