Hi

I'm working on a permission issue. The user should be able to have read permission to customer under certain posting group. The user tested and it seems the security filter is not working in their BC, version 24.5.

In the testing, I removed the customer table, and the user is able to see the customer list page without able to open any customer card. This is expected.

I then added the customer table with read permission, then set up a security filter for posting group xyz.
The user should be able to open customer card per filer setup, but user is not able to open any customer card.

Could someone who has a regular BC license test on your side and share the results?

Thanks

As far as I know, the Security Filter will take effect on the list page. It will not happen that the list page can be seen but the Cardpage cannot be opened.
If it is still a permission issue, it may be caused by other permission sets. You can give the user the minimum permissions and then test again.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.

Is there a way to look from back end why the security filter is not triggered?
