Security Around SSN's EIN's in GP

Hi All:

I cannot locate any decent documentation around SSN's or EIN's in Dynamics GP - around Payroll and 1099's.

    Hi,

    The title to your post referred to Security. The only security that I am aware of that you can use for SSN or EIN fields is Field-Level Security.

    Are there specific questions you have?  The documentation for those would be in the Accounts Payable module and Payroll/HR module manuals.  Since those could be pretty cumbersome to review, maybe there is something specific you are looking to find out?

    Here's a link to the manuals in case you want to take a look in those:  technet.microsoft.com/.../jj673201(v=gp.30).aspx (about halfway down the page you can click on Printable Guides (GP 2013).  Microsoft hasn't updated them since then.
