    Hi Ammar,

Is the Dynamics 365 application itself running normally? Have you looked at Windows event logs for possible more information why the service doesn't start?

Thanks Andre, nothing informative in the event log

    Hi Ammar,

To add onto what Andre said, I just wanted to make sure you were looking in the Dynamics 365 section of Event Viewer and not the standard Windows Logs area.  See here, I would expect there to be something within AX-BatchService.

Please look once again in the event logs, I'm almost sure there's something useful.

Has anyone tested to SYMLINK the AOSService folder instead of changing registry? This way you can just move/copy the AOSService folder and point the AOSService to another drive and still keep the original path to AOSservice. Have to either rename the original AOSService folder or delete it after copying it to another drive. Powershell: New-Item -Path C:\AOSService -ItemType SymbolicLink -Value <newdriveletter>\AOSService

I use symlinks on regular basis, but if you want to discuss it, it'll be better to create a new thread instead of changing the topic of

    AmmarSalah's thread.
